Had to miss the first jam of the new year, Merl was able to go and said it was a really good one . He said Hand Hewn done a fantastic job (thanks guys) Had a little problem getting started , but once up and running went very well. Thanks to Dan Hubbs for doing such a good job with the sound all year.Merl said we had great croud ,wish I could have been there. Our next jam will be January 26Th .Hope to see all there.

The next jam is tuesday dec.22nd. It will be in time for christmas . Hope to hear some carols and have a great time.We would like to thank all who have helped make this jam a sucess. All the bands who have open the showcase jam. (THANK YOU ) and to all who have just set in .( THANK YOU). And to all us who just sat there grinning. ( AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE )thanks to you too. The little guy thats decorating the christmas tree is our great Grandson , Eli.He is sooooooooooo sweet !! Thanks again to all of you. Your host Merl And Peggy Bailey.Hope to see you there.

We went to the opry last night and saw a fantastic show . The opening band was Faces Made For Radio. Boy are they good . I belive they are from Columbus Oh. And the star band was NEW FOUND ROAD. I just cant say enough about them , they were super.Great harmonizing. Wish everybody could have been there.Thanks to Sherri & Jeff for doing such a good job putting the shows together. We just love those people . Ok better tell you before I forget that our jam at the Maumee Elks is tuesday Nov.24th. The band for that night is the awsome Clark Brothers and North City Grass. Hope you will come and see them, you wont be sorry. Thanks to the Maumee Elks for giving us a place to have so many good jams.

WOW !!! What a super jam we had. The band, North End String Band was just GREAT.Alot of fun by all was had.We had so many great musicans there. I can’t name them all.At one time I counted 25 and a few others come in a little late. The whole entire Deepwater Bluegrass Band was there and so was the Clark Brother band there. We had some goooood music going on there.Jimmy Tompsom , Donnie White,Brad Long,Dale Keene , Jess Riley were just a few . We also had a great audiance.Almost everyone commented on how good the band was, and once again they are.On November 24th The Clark Brothers North City Grass are going to be our showcase band.In the meantime dont forget to check out Glass City Opry at GlassCityOpry.com also check out Verns Barn Jam in Gipsongurg, Conn wesienburgers on alexis rd.every thursday at 7:pm and Ed Klines Roadhouse in Grand Rapids Oh. Last friday of the month .On closing I just want to say thanks to all who were at the jam lastnight.Hope to have some pictures to post real soon.
